LMC House History

William Henry Monroe Jones (1888-1943) and Anna Willis Smith (1889-1971) married and had 12 children together between the years of 1907-1928. William Jones built this home at 9350 Styers Ferry Rd, for his family in the year of 1921, after having their ninth child. After giving birth to 12 children who had all grown and moved away, Anna had several newly married couples, children and grandchildren live with her until they moved into a place of their own. After she died in 1971 at the age of 83, the house was sold to the Silveri family whose heirs sold it in 2022. Each family lived in the house for about 50 years.

LMC House will forever be grateful for the beginning stages of this remarkable home. We have refurbished a home that was built over 100 years ago and designed it as an event space for families and friends to gather and create unforgettable memories.
